What is MS QUEST?
MS Quest is the name of the steering committee made up of committed people living with MS or affected by MS. The Questers are a group with the passion and dedication to inform, educate and raise the awareness of the MS disease in NW Arkansas by hosting various events, including a 5k Run in May, the Dinner of Champions, annual Dog Walk, annual car show and more.We invite you to join us on our quest.
MS QUEST developed from the NW Arkansas chapter of the National MS Society. The QUEST includes a variety of events throughout the year including the annual dog walk at Bella vista Trail, car show and poker run at Bentonville Plaza, the MS QUEST Walk and 5K run and this years inaugural Dinner of Champions. All contributions go directly towards research and funding MS QUEST events. We are flexible and encourage new ideas, volunteers, participation and interest. We are looking forward to working with you in the quest against Multiple Sclerosis.
What is Multiple Sclerosis (MS?)
Currently, 400,000 – 500,000 Americans are diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a chronic disease of the central nervous system. MS breaks down the myelin in the brain, which makes even the simplest everyday task that many take for granted – walking, talking, seeing, hearing, – difficult. This disease affects those in their prime, striking most among young adults in their 20s and 30s.
